Orange Dot Award Terms & Conditions

Section 1: General/Scope

  1. These Terms & Conditions apply to all transactions and legal obligations between the Organizers (hereafter referred to as “We” or “Us”)
  2. and the participants (the “Participant”) of the Orange Dot Award.
  3. By submitting an entry, the Participant agrees to comply with these Terms & Conditions. Any deviations from these Terms must be explicitly agreed upon by the Organizers.
  4. We reserve the right to exclude any products that do not meet our entry criteria, particularly those that conflict with public decency or legal standards.

Section 2: Application & Submission Process

  1. The Participant can submit their entry via the pd@orange-dot.org or staff from Orange Dot Award team. Submission of an entry is considered binding once the required details and payment have been submitted.
  2. Participants are encouraged to provide clear and accurate information about the product and its relevance to the pet industry. While we do not require excessively formal documentation, clarity and quality in submission materials are highly valued.

Section 3: Awards and Recognition

  1. Products will be evaluated by a panel of industry experts. The awards given will include but are not limited to categories such as “Innovation in Pet Food” and “Sustainability in Pet Products.”
  2. The Organizers are entitled to share the results of the awards in media outlets and on our website. Participants must be notified prior to public announcements.
  3. If selected for an award, the Participant may be required to provide additional information or materials for promotional purposes. Participation in the award ceremony is highly encouraged but not mandatory.

Section 4: Fees and Registration

  1. The registration fee for the Orange Dot Award is $3,000. This covers participation in the awards process, including online presentation, digital certificates, and publicity in selected media. Payment is due upon submission. The fee is non-refundable once the registration is processed.

Section 5: Rights and Use of Submitted Materials

  1. By submitting a product, the Participant grants the Organizers the right to use the submitted materials (images, product descriptions, etc.) for promotional purposes related to the Orange Dot Award and our affiliated events.
  2. Participants retain the copyright to their materials but are expected to grant the Organizers the right to use them in promotional efforts and public relations activities associated with the award.

Section 6: Privacy and Data Protection

  1. The Organizers respect the privacy of the Participants and are committed to the protection of any personal information submitted during the application process. All personal data will be used solely for the purpose of the Orange Dot Award.

Section 7: Liability

  1. The Organizers are not liable for any loss, damage, or harm caused during the awards process. The Participant assumes all risk of submission and participation.

Section 8: Termination

  1. Participants may withdraw their entry by contacting the Organizers via email prior to the competition deadline. After this date, the submission is considered final.
